Philanthropic support is part of our history, as the school was set up by the generous local people of Colyton in 1546. This tradition continues today and is a key part of our success. The school wants to ensure its future in education is world-leading. State-funded schools like Colyton Grammar School have restricted budgets, so through gifts to the school you are helping us to fulfil our aims and provide an outstanding environment in which our students can flourish.
The Annual Fund is a regular donation scheme to the school which runs each year, all year round. The more participants there, the more the fund builds and allows us to react quickly to departmental needs. To join the Annual Fund please donate here, you will be invited to a special thank you event at least biennially with the headteacher.
Over the last two years your support has provided over 200 hours of volunteer time and in excess of £160,000 of support for the school.
Digital Enhancements Project: your donations were used to update every classroom with interactive boards.
145 Volunteer hours: Alumni/parent Inspire talks, Head Start Year 12 career event, Career Interviews for Year 13 students
The Digital 4 All appeal was supported by over 200 donors and enabled Colyton Grammar School students to each have a digital device. This ensured an outstanding student experience through learning at home or in school during the pandemic and beyond.
42 Volunteer Hours: Alumni/parent Inspire talks, Career Interviews for Year 13 students
The Annual Fund continues to grow and will be used through to May 2022 for the Raising Our Game Appeal
