Carry Somers is co-founder of Fashion Revolution, a non profit organisation. Today she departs with an all female crew in the Pacific Ocean exploring and research plastic pollution.

Carry sets sales to highlight plastic pollution and fashion industry
Carry Somers is co-founder of Fashion Revolution, non profit organisation working towards changing the way our clothes are sourced, produced and consumed to make it a cleaner, fairer process for all.
 
Carry leads the revolution to transform fashion, and is further highlight the need for change through a 2200 nautical mile voyage on eXXpedition from the Galapagos to Easter Island leaving today (17th February).
Carry was selected from 10,000  women who applied to take a crew space on this leg of the 2 year voyage to circumnavigate the globe. The purpose of eXXpedition is to collect samples of ocean water to analyse the plastics and their composition. The diverse, all-female crew including scientists, filmmakers, artists, teachers, doctors, sustainability experts, exploring the impact of ocean plastic. 

We wish Carry and the crew a fantastic voyage on the Pacific, and we look forward to following their progress.
