Todd Olive left Colyton Grammar School in 2017 but has recently visited the school to share with us his master’s thesis on climate crisis beyond the city. He shared with students the key aspects of his research, the implications that need to be addressed and the wider issues that need to be considered to enable rural areas to be Net Zero. He also raised issues about the remote location of housing and their relation to work and local infrastructure. Todd is currently lecturing at the University of Warwick, whilst completing his PhD. Todd met a potential undergraduate[MS1] student who has had an offer from Warwick, and it is great to see the networking that occurs between our alumni community.
Having alumni visit and talk with students is extremely important to us here at Colyton Grammar School, as they are able to share recent University experience, pathways and careers.
