Recently, students from Seaton and Kilmington Primary Schools visited Colyton Grammar School to enjoy an introduction to tennis on our new astro pitch.
Led by many of our students, the children moved through five different games that aimed to help them to build skills in tennis, ranging from exercises in catching balls and using the racquets, to balance and athleticism.
For many of the primary students who visited the school, tennis is not something that they have had the opportunity to play and it really was great to see so many happy faces. Days like this help to provide opportunities for Colyton Grammar School students to improve their leadership skills and, more importantly, to better serve their community.
