It with much sadness that we pass on the news that Mr Ernie Fox, once Headteacher at Colyton Grammar School, passed away recently. He had been very ill and died at home, surrounded by his close family.
Ernie was an extremely kind and generous man who was ever present at CGS events. He had a great passion for public speaking and drama, opening our new drama studio last summer. A proposal to celebrate his time at the school is that we name the House Drama and House Debating competitions after him, and hold an annual Ernest Fox Lecture in his honour.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Ernie’s family and friends.
