Figures from the Department of Education have revealed that Colyton Grammar School is amongst the best schools in the Devon local authority for admissions to top universities.
The data, which shows the proportion of students from each school who left in 2020 and went on to study at Oxford, Cambridge, or one of the other Russell Group universities, states that nationally in 2020 just one per cent of students went on to Oxford or Cambridge, with 18 per cent gaining admissions to a Russell Group university.
These figures reveal that, in 2020, CGS came out on top, with 67 per cent of our school leavers that year going on to a Russell Group university, and 11 per cent getting into Oxford or Cambridge.
We are grateful for our alumni and parent community who support our students through interview preparations to enable their future success.
