Inspiring Colytonians |
Anton (OC2020) is attending Durham University Business School studying Business Management with an industrial placement. Anton shares with us his experiences so far: “In the three months I have been working at the Clean Energy Council, I have learnt a whole host of new skills and have worked on some really cool projects. Some highlights that I have especially enjoyed include re-instating the Social Club Newsletter; filming an interview between our CE Kane Thornton and The Hon. Lily D’Ambrosio (the Victoria State Minister for Energy, Environment, Climate Action and Solar Homes); and choosing the photos to be used for Australia’s stand at #cop27 in Egypt this November.
“Today, I was really glad to see the hard work the MarComms team and I had put into market - the Women in Renewables Luncheon resulted in a sold-out event. Also, I was proud to see our company booth at All-Energy showing the slide decks I had put together to highlight what we have been up to in the renewable energy sector in 2022.
“I’d like to thank everyone in the MarComms team who have shown me the ropes and especially Bianca Tuckwell who has been a great mentor to me.
“I am very grateful for the opportunities I’ve had so far and have had a fantastic three months. I am really excited for what’s to come!”
